If you're looking for quality care at the most affordable cost, the Value Plan may be just right for you. It:
- Pays 100% for all covered benefits
- Has no deductible
- Covers annual exams, child wellness and immunizations
- Provides maternity care
- Requires a co-payment for visits to your primary care physician, outpatient surgery, and for generic prescriptions
The Standard Option is the most popular choice. It offers more benefits than the Value Plan. The Standard Option pays 100% of:
- Wellness checkups for children
- Annual routine physicals for those over 18 (one per year, and a co-payment is required)
- Maternity care
- Preventive screenings, such as cholesterol checks, mammograms, etc.
The Standard Option also includes the following out-of-pocket costs:
- $20 co-payment for office visits for adults
- $10 co-payment for office visits for dependents who are under age 22
- $10 co-payment for generic prescriptions
- $15 co-payments for chiropractic care
The Consumer Option is a High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with a Health Savings Account (HSA). With this option:
- Funds are deposited into the HSA
- The funds in the HSA pay for the health care services until your deductible is met
- When the deductible is met, you only pay your co-payment for services
- The funds in your HSA roll over from year to year, so you never lose that money
